The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) reminds all Commercial Transport Operators that VEHICLE INCOME TAX (VIT)STICKERS for the third quarter (i.e. 1st July – 30th September, 2010) are on sale at the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) District Offices throughout the country.

New Personal Income Tax Rates
The commissioner of Internal Revenue Service wishes to inform the general public especially Taxpayers, Employers, Paymasters, Accountants, Tax Practitioners and Consultants that, parliament has by Legislative Instrument (L.I.) 1965 approved new personal income tax rates. The effective date of implementation is 9th June 2010.
Meet The Commissioner
Maj. Daniel Sowa Ablorh-Quarcoo was born on July 29, 1951 at Adukrom Akuapem. After primary and middle school education at the Local Methodist School, he entered Prempeh College, Kumasi, for his secondary education in 1964 coming out in 1971 with his Ordinary and Advanced Level Certificates of the G.C.E. respecetively.
